this time i'll write a little about my change of sight being both a customer and shop attendant C:Customer/ Client side:
being a client/customer is something very nice. From that side the attention is always very quick and you get the self-service which is really handy because you don't need to ask the shop attendants for things like cold drinks, cookies, chips or anything~
in the photos below there's:
- coca cola (?)
- papelón con limón *
- Pound Cake (marmoleado*)
- Pan de Jamón *
- Berry pie
Explanations:Papelón con Limón:
the papelón is the unrefined sugar that is condensed into blocks (sometimes they have another shapes, depending of the concept but they tend to be regular geometric forms, very simple) and it has a soft brown color. the papelón con limón comes up from mixing up the papelón with lemon into a soft, refreshing drink. i absolutely recommend you to ever drink it if you get the chance! it's very nice C:Marmoleado (pound cake)
: that is the way to call a pound cake with mixed flavor (chocolate and vanilla). what makes it look like that is the process before baking it: you pour the vanilla mix and then the chocolate mix, after that you move it a little, and the result after is always a stained cake resembled to the marmol, that's why of the name n.n
-Pan de Jamón
: this is a bread, classic of holidays in my country which is a mix of ham, olives and raisins. to be honest i'm not really a fan of this, but it comes out yummy from time to time C:
P.S.: the Berry pie has an Uchuva, which is a very sour fruit yet very pretty and small. (the yellow one)Shop attendant side:
being a shop attendant can be exciting and yet very tiring! the good thing is being able to taste all desserts, attend very nice people and to earn more skills memorizing, moving around and doing many tasks at the same time. with the weeks i've seen and been told about my improvement, and some customers really get impressed as i remember the whole order despite or the other 8 i have coming out just by seeing their faces xD
sometimes it's very nice too, specially while opening the shop because is very light and you get to see the whole shop without anyone around and get a new sight of it. also it's very nice to see how can you make the shop look very pretty!
in the photos below:
-flowers which i don't know the name and absolutely, totally love and get delighted just by remembering it's escent (long name lol)
-the counters filled up with the products being brought from the pastry and cuisine departments for the shop. there's where my job comes in organizing everything~
